CSS pulsar for map

Hi there! We’ll make it short.

Recently we were in search of pulsating point for a map-based project we’re developing. An iPhone-like pulsating point, yep. As we had found nothing we decided to make our own one. So it turned out to be that we did it so good and so compatible with all modern browsers so we decided to form it into a jQuery plugin.

Look, here is an example in pure CSS3 that works with Chrome and Safari. Oh wow, Firefox works too now.

And here is the same thing in JavaScript. Works everywhere, and with IE9.

You can pause, reset and resume the JavaScript version with the special methods: pause, reset and resume. And how to do this with the CSS3 version... hey, make it up, what’s wrong with you!
