Non-Desctruction Testing Guidebook mobile application development
Non-destructive control is the control of the reliability of the working properties and parameters of the object, which does not require removal of the object.
Non-destructive testing is used in welding. To check the welded joint, a variety of methods are used that require measuring and comparing the parameters with the calculated ones.
Developed a mobile application - a guide to non-destructive testing. The handbook is divided into 6 main sections in accordance with the six standards of non-destructive testing.
Early application prototypes
At the technical offer stage, the structure of the future product was elaborated.
The complete layout of the application sections is a huge and complex tree. I managed to put it in the most simple and intuitive interface.
Inside each section, a detailed filter is arranged by type of welded joint, welding parameters, and so on. The user can select the category of pipeline, enter the data thickness. Next, the user selects the control method - ultrasonic, x-ray or other. After that, it checks the quality of welding according to a handy reference article in which the requested calculations are implemented.
The feature of the directory is fully autonomous work. After installation, the entire knowledge base is downloaded to the device, the welder does not need internet access. This is true for workers of the Far North.
For the application all possible schemes of welded joints are carefully drawn.
The detail of the schemes is very high.
For the application are also selected attractive thematic icons.
