City Courier mobile application development, version 2.0

City Courier is a courier service with geolocation, developed in Love Media.

City Courier allows you to send packages directly from the browser. Users can see the courier moving on the map in real time, and couriers can take orders on their Android smartphones.

City Courier is ideal for fast delivery around the city.

Courier application, version 1: delivery from point A to point B

The first version of the application allowed receiving orders for the delivery from point A to point B. This was enough for the functioning of the service, but it was bad in terms of logistics.

Courier application, version 2: Multiple points

The second version of the application allows you to accept delivery orders with an unlimited number of points, combined into long routing sheets.

The courier sees all the points on the map and can estimate the time.
Typically, there’s a single starting point at a warehouse or a store.
At each point, the courier takes the customer's signature, and can also call him.
City Courier automatically sorts points of the route for the optimal way.
Delivery points are provided with comments.
The cost of delivery is automatically calculated by the City Courier server.

Orders order

The second version of the app can accept several orders at the same time. If the courier can execute two orders along the way, then he can takes the second or more order.

Electronic Signature

When sending or receiving a parcel, the customer must subscribe it. In order to not carry a pile of papers, the City Courier uses an electronic signature. You can put it directly with your finger on the screen.

The application is developed for the Android platform and is given only to couriers.
